05 Feb Press Release – LearnTec Karlsruhe 2019
VISCOPIC is exhibiting product innovations at the LearnTec in Karlsruhe
At the LearnTec exhibition for digital education from 29 to 31 January 2019 in Karlsruhe the Start Up VISCOPIC takes part as an exhibitor and expert for digital learning. At booth number J40 in hall 2, the young 3D and Augmented Reality company is presenting how its software solutions Steps, Pins and Polygons are changing the area of training and setting digital learning trends.
At the trade fair for digital education and the European-wide reputed congress the growing importance of digital education becomes clear. The event brings together education specialists and experts from the e-learning user and education sector as well as decision-makers from all economic sectors and public institutions. Almost all relevant providers of digital education are represented at LearnTec.
VISCOPIC presents its product innovations at its booth. The three applications Steps, Pins and Polygons significantly change the work in different fields in times of digitalization. In the area of education and training, the use of Augmented Reality through the software solutions of VISCOPIC achieves enormous improvements in efficiency and quality.
With VISCOPIC Steps, 3D content and animations can be created manually. VISCOPIC Pins allows anyone to create Augmented Reality content without programming knowledge. The program VISCOPIC Polygons enables real-time streaming of models to the Microsoft HoloLens.
The application cases of VISCOPIC’s Augmented Reality applications are versatile – especially the area of training has great potential for immersive technology. If, for example, hazardous situations are to be trained, if certain machines are not available for training purposes or if training would be inefficient due to great effort, AR solutions offer an immense advantage. For this reason, according to a survey conducted by Harvard Business Review, the training sector is a first in line when it comes to interest in AR applications with around 54 percent. At 57 percent, this area was also considered to have the greatest potential for the use of AR.
VISCOPIC’s presence at the trade fair is an opportunity to arouse the interest of more than 10,000 visitors with product demonstrations, to inform them and to inspire them with showcases. During several guided tours, visitors can gain insights into VISCOPIC’s products every day and continue to gather information during product demonstrations and a presentation of the company. The VISCOPIC stand is well attended at all times by interested parties from all sectors who want to find out more about the company’s products.
The 30 minute lecture of Marco Maier, Managing Director of VISCOPIC, at LearnTec on the topic “Creation of AR training content without programming skills with VISCOPIC Pins” leads further interested trade fair visitors to the booth of the company, who can find out more about a possible integration of VISCOPIC products there.
The great correspondence of the trade fair visitors with the target group of VISCOPIC makes LearnTec a focus fair, where the startup will also be represented next year as an exhibitor – because e-learning, especially through extended reality, is more than ever a component of integrated educational concepts.
