VISCOPIC presents product innovations as an exhibitor at the Hannover Messe
Munich, 28.03.2019. The Start Up VISCOPIC will again be represented as an exhibitor at the Hanover Fair from 1st until 5th of April 2019. At booth number L22 in hall 6, the company, an expert for 3D and Augmented Reality solutions, will present its products, Steps, Pins and Polygons.
Hannover Messe is the world’s leading trade fair with all key technologies and core areas of the industry in one place – from research and development, industrial automation and IT to supply, production technologies and services to energy and mobility technologies. The event brings together a wide range of experts and professionals from different sectors such as plant engineering, process industry, product development and design, energy supply and automotive industries for them to promote exchange, inspire, collaborate and gain experience.
Technologies for the factories and energy systems of the future are presented at the fair. For this reason, Hannover Messe is also referred to as the “Home of Industrial Pioneers”. Especially the networking of man and machine and industry 4.0 are important topics of the event – therefore, VISCOPIC is as expert for Augmented Reality applications in the industrial sector, an important part of the fair. AR solutions can bring an immense advantage to the industry, which has a huge potential for immersive technologies.
The product innovations of the startup are presented at its stand. The three software applications Steps, Pins and Polygons change the work in different areas in times of digitalization significantly. VISCOPIC Steps can be used to create 3D content and animations easily. VISCOPIC Pins enables anyone to create Augmented Reality content which can be used on end devices such as the Microsoft HoloLens or tablets as documentation and instructions for any purpose, without programming knowledge. The application VISCOPIC Polygons enables automatic mesh reduction and real-time streaming of 3D models to Microsoft HoloLens.
The use cases of VISCOPIC’s Augmented Reality applications are diverse and range from animated 3D work instructions for the installation, repair and maintenance of machines to industrial training on virtual representations of systems. VISCOPIC also works on individual projects, which result from special customer requirements.
VISCOPIC’s presence at the trade fair is an opportunity to arouse the interest of more than 200,000 visitors with product demonstrations, to inform them and to inspire them with showcases. By demonstrating AR on the fair, networking with interested visitors from different branches of industry such as mechanical engineering, construction and design is enhanced and contact with potential or existing customers can be established.
