Step 1: Written Application

If you are interested in a position or if you find a certain area super exciting, send your application including a cover letter, your CV, reference letters and transcripts of record, as well as your portfolio (if applicable) to career@viscopic.de

Step 2: First telephone interview

If your application arouse our interest, you will receive an invitation for a first telephone or video interview. This first ‘get-to-know’ call will take approx. 30-60 minutes and serves to get to know each other a bit better and to find out about your experience and motivation. Of course, we will provide you with more details about VISCOPIC, our success story and the working environment, too. Also, this will give you the opportunity to ask questions that you might have about us and position.

Step 3: Coding Quiz (Only for developer)

To evaluate your coding skills, we will give you some basic programming tasks which you can implement with your coding language of choice. Depending on the position, different aspects will considered in particular.

Step 4: Trial workday

During the trial workday you will be part of the VISCOPIC Team to experience the working atmosphere. In the morning you will get to know all team members at VISCOPIC, familiarize with the guest computer and you will be handed out your tasks. Here, you will will interact with the team members during the elaboration of your tasks as well as during lunch. The trial workday serves primarily to find out whether chemistry between us is right and to get an idea of your approach to work.

Step 5: References

Finally, we might ask you for further references and in some cases we may contact former employers of yours.

Step 6: Signing of the contract

If the trial work day works out well and reference calls are positive, you will soon receive the job offer. Welcome to our team!
